Avery started Diversified Tech Solutions in 2003 so businesses around Johnson City would have someone local who knows the whole stack and still picks up the phone. That is still how it works: when you call, you get Avery.
Computer support and repair came first, in the early 1990s. Networking and security followed in the late 1990s, and Linux server administration around 2000. The web, hosting, and search work grew up next to that stack, because the same servers ran the sites.
Avery founded Diversified Tech Solutions in 2003. The business was organized as an LLC in 2015. Today the office is at 4100 North Roan Street, Suite 208, Johnson City, TN 37601 (map), and the work covers incident response, managed IT, networks, fractional IT leadership, and the websites that bring work in the door.
Bachelor of Science, UNC Asheville, 1996. Avery earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of North Carolina at Asheville (UNC Asheville) in 1996.

If you have an admin, a helpdesk, or an out-of-town MSP, we do not replace them. We sit next to that person: vendors, budget, security program, surge, and someone who can be in the building. Tickets and day-to-day ownership stay where they are unless you ask otherwise.
