What we do remotely
- Microsoft 365 and identity
- Windows and Linux servers / VPS
- WordPress and site hosting (ours or yours — Trileaf Hosting)
- Firewall and VPN (when we can reach them)
- Incident containment when the systems are still online
Small business · remote · onsite when it matters
Most work is remote: SSH, Microsoft 365, screen-share, the firewall you can reach. When remote is not enough, Avery Parker is in Johnson City and can be onsite across the Tri-Cities and Western North Carolina.
A five-person shop with one file server is a first-class client. So is a 50-person office with an overworked admin. Packages scale; the person on the call does not change. You do not get a junior after the sale.
Most first conversations are the same: Microsoft 365 is a pile of personal forwards, nobody knows if the backup restores, and the last person who understood the firewall left two years ago. We can take that as a one-off at $100/$150 an hour, or we can put you on a managed plan if the volume is going to keep coming. We will say which on the discovery call — including if fractional CIO is the seat you are actually missing.
Racks, wireless surveys, the closet, the owner who will not put the server on the internet. Onsite in Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol, Greeneville, Elizabethton, Erwin, Asheville, Weaverville, Mars Hill, and nearby.
We work with in-house admins and out-of-town MSPs. How that engagement works →
Inside a Managed IT or MSSP package, remote helpdesk is included in the monthly fee. Outside a plan: $100/hour business hours, $150/hour after hours, 2-hour minimum onsite.
After you write or call: Avery calls back, we size whether this is a one-off or a package, and you get a written next step. No ticket mill.
No. That is a first-class client. Most of the work is remote. We drive when the closet or the owner will not put the server on the internet.

Remote first. Onsite when it matters.
