SonicWall
Someone who will read the SonicWall rules, not only reboot it.
Avery Parker works SonicWall firewalls, SSL VPN, and site-to-site onsite in the Tri-Cities, Southwest Virginia, and Western North Carolina. The usual job is a box that has not been honestly reviewed since it was installed.
What we actually touch
- Firmware that is years behind and the upgrade path that will not brick the VPN on a Friday
- SSL VPN users who left the company
- Site-to-site tunnels that die when the ISP changes a block
- Rules that were added “just for a vendor” in 2018
If “the internet is down” is ransomware, start at ransomware response. Brand-agnostic network work lives on networks.
Questions we get
The SonicWall has not been touched since 2019. Is that a job?
Yes. Firmware, VPN users who left two employers ago, and rules nobody can explain. That is the usual SonicWall call in this region.
Will you rip it out for UniFi?
Not to make the invoice prettier. If the SonicWall is honest for the site, we work that. UniFi stays when UniFi fits. See the UniFi page.
Can our MSP send you onsite?
Yes. You stay the provider of record. We are the hands in the closet. Partners page.
Need SonicWall hands onsite?
Project rates $100/$150. Partner MSPs keep the customer.
