Located in the mountains of East Tennessee, our primary location is currently located in the Johnson City, TN area. The region is known as the Tri-Cities covering the cities of Bristol, Kingsport, as well as Greeneville, Jonesborough and several other smaller communities.
Johnson City is the home of East Tennessee State University near downtown. With many communities surrounding including Boone’s Creek, Gray, Austin Springs, Midway and Mountain Home.
The city has territory in each of three counties: Washington County, Carter County and Sullivan County, Tennessee.
The first settler in the area was William Bean whose cabin along Boone’s creek was the first permanent settlement. The cabin was on the site of a hunting camp that had been established by Daniel Boone. Boone’s Creek draws it’s name from the famous pioneer woodsman.
